These terms govern your use of TwoTicks. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

TwoTicks is a task management application. We provide:

• Free tier - Basic task management with one list
• Pro tier - Enhanced features including sync, multiple lists, themes, and sounds

2. Account

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You're responsible for maintaining access to your email account
• You may only create one account per person
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the service

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Interfere with the service's operation
• Resell or redistribute the service

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the tasks and data you create. You grant us a licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service.

5. Pro Subscription

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
• Prices are in GBP and include VAT
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds are provided in accordance with UK consumer law (14-day cooling-off period for new subscriptions)

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep TwoTicks available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance or updates.

7. Data and Backups

• Free users' data is stored on a single device and is not synced
• Pro users' data is synced and backed up daily
• We recommend exporting important data regularly
• We're not liable for data loss beyond providing reasonable backup services for Pro users

8. Intellectual Property

The TwoTicks name, logo, and software are our property. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our code or designs.

9. Termination

• You can delete your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

• The service is provided "as is" without warranties
• We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
